Bluberri Cottage  is a small New England ragdoll cattery established in 2005 near Mystic, Connecticut by me, Linda. As a very young child in the 1960’s, I remember cutting out of the newspaper a photo of the ragdoll breed creator, Ann Baker, holding an example of what appeared to me to be a cool new breed she hoped to establish with a cat registry. How I wish I still had that photo!
Decades later, as a professional groomer, I met some ragdolls and knew I wanted to breed them. I was blessed to form a friendship with the then-president of Ragdoll International, Kim Balas, who helped me to acquire some fabulous foundation cats to start my new cattery. She graciously mentored me as well, for which I will always be grateful to her.
